Allyson brings two years of specialized experience in children’s grief and hospice care, providing compassionate support through individual, family, and group counseling. In addition to her grief work, she is deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and emotional challenges across the lifespan.

Her therapeutic style is warm, person-centered, and rooted in developing strong, trusting relationships. Allyson tailors treatment to each client's unique needs and focuses on helping individuals build resilience, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. She integrates techniques drawn from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, somatic-based approaches, and Strengths-Based therapy. Experience & Therapeutic Approach

Carolina has extensive experience working with children, teens, and families in both school settings and clinical mental health environments. She previously served as a high school family support aide, helping students and their families navigate educational systems and providing support for challenges related to self-esteem, depression, anger, and anxiety. Carolina has also worked with elementary-aged children and their parents as both a child therapist and parent support guide.

During her clinical training at the UNC Child and Adolescent Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Raleigh, NC, Carolina worked closely with families to deepen their understanding of mental health and to provide compassionate guidance, practical strategies, and emotional support. Her approach emphasizes empowerment, connection, and collaborative problem-solving.

Carolina is trained in Play Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, and Attachment-Based Therapy. She takes a non-judgmental, affirming, and compassionate approach, integrating expressive arts, play techniques, and mindfulness practices to promote emotional safety, growth, and healing. She believes every client and family is unique and is committed to finding the therapeutic path that best fits their needs and goals.

Neda Dabbagh is a bilingual Master of Social Work student completing her professional internship at Butterfly Family Center. As an MSW Intern, she is on track to graduate and become a licensed social worker. Neda has experience providing case management for refugees at World Relief Durham, where she supported immigrant families and children navigating systemic barriers. As the daughter of immigrants, she brings a unique perspective and deep passion for creating safe, supportive environments where families can thrive.

Neda’s therapeutic approach is grounded in a person-in-environment framework, strengths-based principles, and a multicultural lens. She values working with clients rather than for them, fostering a collaborative relationship where individuals feel empowered and respected. Neda integrates evidence-based modalities creatively, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs and values of each client.

She offers in-person and virtual sessions, aiming to serve as a bridge for clients to build resilience, develop practical tools, and reconnect with their inner strengths and capabilities.

Experience and therapeutic approach: Maria has 4 years of experience in the mental health and substance use field as a peer support specialist for adolescents as well as providing substance use counseling to adults. Maria utilizes a variety of theoretical approaches while relying heavily on holistic, strength-based, person-centered, and motivational interviewing techniques. Maria seeks to help you enhance your overall self by better understanding and navigating your past, present, and future while allowing you to feel empowered, hopeful, and safe.
